Jury

Our film jury is made up of students from Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) and Academy of Fine Arts and Design (VŠVU) in Bratislava. Films presented at Be2Can will compete for the Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actor and Jury Prize.

Silvia Goliášová

Úvodní slovo
Silvia Goliášová is a student of Film Production in the 4th grade at Academy of Performing Arts and recent graduate of Faculty of Multimedia Communications in Tomas Bata University in Zlin, where she graduated with the bachelor dance movie Selfmotion. During her studies not only she assisted to several student films but also was part of the creative part of preparing audiovisual works. She collaborated on several short dance videos and fashion shows associated with performance.

Daniela Sláviková

Juror profile
Daniela Sláviková is a student of Film Directing at the Academy of Performing Arts and recent graduate of Faculty of Multimedia Communications in Tomas Bata University in Zlin. Her bachelor movie Ipanema was shortlisted for the Czech Lion Awards. She writes film reviews for the Slovak magazine .týždeň and in September 22 she completed a three-month internship in Czech distribution company Aerofilms. Currently she is preparing her master film about finding father’s feeling.

Zoltán Baráth

Juror profile
Zoltán Baráth is a student in the 4th grade at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, at the Department of Intermedia. He finished with bachelor’s degree at the Metropolitan University in Budapest, where he studied Film Editing. His highest interests are in physical genres and experimental film. In his practise, he focuses on editing and video art, where he explores the themes of the body and identity.

Alexandra Smolková

Juror profile
Alexandra is the student at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, specializing in Sculpture, object, installation. She graduated with master degree at the Comenius University in the department of Archaeology. In her work, she deals with the possibility of a mediating a narrative plot in the medium of sculpture/installation and the tension between physical reality and the film image.

Denis Kozerawski

Juror profile
Denis Kozerawski is an artist, who has been addicted to research, artistic, designing and curatorial activities since 2012. In 2020, he initiated and co-founded gallery A Promise of Kneropy. He exhibited at several domestic and foreign shows, the most recent participation was during Biennale Matter of Art 2022, where he and his team presented the last film KAMBIUM1492. Denis Kozerawski in his work mainly deals with social issues and art at the time of climate crisis.

Nina Ulická

Juror profile
Nina Ulická is a student of Film studies in the third year at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. Since 2021, she has been participating in the organization of the international documentary film festival Jeden svet as a Junior Short Film Section Programmer and occasionally writes articles for the online film magazine Kinečko. She will be part of the Be2Can student jury for the second time, the first time she participated as a juror in the previous year.
